Acton Skatepark

Today Matt & I went to Acton skatepark. It's pretty sick, with two or three euro-gaps, a halfpipe, huge funbox-type setup, 4 set, 2 set, and sweet flatground.
Proof it's sick: I came home with a bloody elbow, cut open a scar on my knee, cut on my wrist, an somehow also on my shoulder. Check it out. Acton, MA

Tired

Skateboarding is the most tiring, die-hard sport EVER, and when  you're done for the day, you wanna go live with the squirrels and hibernate forever. Today I skated and almost have frontside air to tail. Matt almost has nollie B/S 360 to rock. I'm almost too tired to type right now.

In other skate news:
Jereme Rogers a.k.a "JR", started his very own deck brand after one of the many ways to describe himself: Selfish. No offense Jereme, but I don't see "Selfish Skateboards" going to far.
Tyler Bledsoe is pro for Alien Workshop! He totally deserved that a long time ago. T-Puds is on CCS. Chaz
Ortiz is pro for Zoo. Riley Hawk is on Theeve. Jake Donnelly is OFFICIALLY on Adidas. To end this great news with a BANGA, Bam Margera got hit in the back of the head by some crazy lady with a bat. YEEAAHH!!!

Tricks on a LONGBOARD???

I was just wondering, who does that? I've seen guys do ollies and shove-its with a longboard, and simply see it WRONG. That's like wearing running shoes while you have a sesh: It just doesn't work. I've seen a couple dudes do kickflips on longboards, and I know it's pretty gnarly, but that just doesn't fit a cruiser! They even flick the wrong way. Longboard + tricks = BAD COMBO!

Almost & DVS Collab!?!? Matt Nollie Big Disasters??

You may or may not know that Daewon Song has a new, Limited Addition "Daewon CT" shoe by DVS that has Almost written all over it? Check it out , just be weary of the price: 65 BIG ONES!

Along with that, I was at McClennan yesterday with my homie Matty D, and he was trying a Nollie Bigspin Disaster on the QP. (Damn, he just turned 12!) So, I grab my cam to film it, and GUESS WHAT??? It breaks!!!! And top that crap off, Matt suddenly lands his big-boy trick.

One word to describe yesterday:  DAMN!   SK8 Or Die!!! ROAR!

Favorite Tricks? Tricks I Hate?

Hey, I was wondering what skateboard tricks you hate, and which ones you like. From my research, the top 3 favorite tricks are...
1. Kickflips - I like kickflips.
2. Tre Flips - Hard, but so much fun.
3. Nollie Bigspins - This trick is fun 'cause you just spin off your nose. :)

Those choices were wicked obvious. But the question is, what tricks do you hate??? Comment, I'd like to know.  Sk8 Or DIE!!!

Hey, this is Daniel. (youtube.com/user/piercebandits) I'm here to tell you about the latest scoops and news about skateboarding and the skater life. I'm starting this blog off by talking 'bout decks. What are the best decks? There are so many sick boards to choose from, and if you're new to skating I'd listen to this "Top 3 Decks" list.
1. Girl Skateboards.     Not only do these boards rock huge concave and have massive pop, but they also sport a SICK team. Eric Koston --- what more could be said?
2. Almost Skateboards.   Fancy boards for hardcore skaters. With hardcore shred-sledders like Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song, what could go wrong? Long lasting pop, "Impact Support", "Uber Light", these are high tech!
3. Finally, I have to go with Sk8 Mafia. Hardcore decks with a team as hardcore as Krooked. And of course, no one would dare skate a handrail with a Wal-Mart board.
Well, hope you agree with these decks! SK8 ON! Or Die!
